Eligibility
To be eligible for FREE programs, you must:
- Be an Internationally-Educated Nurse OR Internationally Educated Health Professional (Midwife, International Medical Graduate/Doctor, Lab Tech, Pharmacist, etc)
- Be a permanent resident, refugee (privately sponsored or government sponsored), temporary foreign worker OR have your Canadian immigration letter of approval (Prearrival);
- Meet the minimum language requirements to enter our programming. (IELTS 5/CLB 6) Note the specific language requirements for each module below.
- Have access to a computer with internet
*If you are a Canadian Citizen or on a student visa (or do so not meet the above criteria), you can participate in Healthcare webinars, but unfortunately are not funded to participate in other programming due to IRCC funding restrictions.*
Outside of Canada
- Have been approved by Citizenship and Immigration Canada to migrate to Canada.
- Have confirmation Of Permanent Residence
- Meet the minimum language requirements to enter our programming.(IELTS 5/CLB 6) Note the specific language requirements for each module below.
Recommended Skills
It is highly recommended that you have the following before taking our online courses:
- Ability to navigate the internet
- Ability to send and receive emails including attaching documents
- Familiarity with Skype and/or other video conferencing tools. (We recommend students to have a Skype account)
Recommended equipment
- Computer/Laptop no more than 5 years old. (With a built in webcam)
- Headset (Earphones or earbuds/Microphone)

- CLBPT = Canadian Language Benchmark Placement Test
- LINC (Teachers Report) = Language Instruction for Newcomers to Canada
- IELTS = International English Language Test
- CELBAN = Canadian English Language Benchmark Assessment for Nurses
- I-CELBAN = Institutional Canadian English Language Benchmark Assessment for Nurses

These modules are intended for those at a Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) 8+ or equivalent. (Note if you have successfully completed Module 2 with CCCN, you are eligible to register for either intensive 1 or 2.)
